Dr. Sharma has a Doctoral degree in Management with specialization in Accounting and Finance from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy and Master’s in Mathematical Finance from University of Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne, France. He is a senior researcher at Nepal School of Entrepreneurship (NSE) and mainly contributes in designing research methodology and implementing statistical models for projects undertaken. He is also a visiting faculty at Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM), where he teaches Corporate Finance (MBA) and Research Seminar in Finance (MPhil).
Dr. Sharma has a wide experience in Nepalese private sector and is interested in researching the significance of firms’ CSR/sustainability activities with a particular focus on Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) related topics that are argued to “…. provide a global blueprint for dignity, peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and in the future”. Overall, he is fascinated by effective implementation of SDGs in Nepalese context and its’ contribution towards Sustainable business policy development.
