Akanshya Shah is a Nepali journalist and researcher based in New Delhi with keen research interest in South Asia, particularly Nepal-India bilateral relations and role of China in the region. She has worked with various media houses of Nepal and leading think tanks in India and have produced research papers of value. She is also a communication specialist and a lecturer.
A MA in International Relations from Delhi’s prestigious JNU, she has collaborated in various academic projects at home and abroad. She also has wide ranging experience in the social sector with focus on environment and conservation. She has just been awarded the “Jana Sewa Sri” medal for excellence in journalism this year by Government of Nepal.
